Dante Ferretti will work w/Scorsese on Shutter Island

I'm wondering about the woman in the pink bathing suit too... I don't remember a part in the book or script that would have that in there... Did you notice the sketch of the (pink) lips tacked there, too?

I really don't know what to make of the person in pink, can't place it within the movie either.

Thanks Arnzilla and Joke The Escher referrence does fit well with the descriptions of the prison wing in the book. The woman in pink looks like something from a Beryl Cook painting :lol: and a huge contrast to all those starved dead bodies falling from the train. Could she be German and from the Dachau sequences?

Lou, you're on the right track. I asked Greg, the author of the article, for an explanation and he said "the picture is actually one of Dante's head photoshopped onto the body of Murphy's character. Dante seemed to have a pretty good sense of humor."
