Josh Brolin considered for a role?
The Seattle Times - November 11, 2007 Closely but not slavishly adapted from Cormac McCarthy's acclaimed novel, "No Country for Old Men" is receiving critical raves, and Brolin, 39, is enjoying the kind of career buzz that's eluded him since his screen debut in "The Goonies" in 1985. Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg recently called to seek his services.

Oops. Right stud muffin, wrong movie. The Phoenix - November 12, 2007 "Scorsese is doing this thing called 'The Wolf of Wall Street,' which I think is an amazing book about Jordan Belfort. I don’t know what part would be in there because I know Leo is going to be playing Belford. I just like the story. I would love to be in it."

Josh Brolin
wonderful, he's hot to trot at the moment and he's also just plain hot 8) 8) I remember the 'young' Brolin very well..he was my fav. Young Rider (for anyone who may remember that show..he played Wild Bill Hickok) Gotta agree with Stormy on this one..Josh Brolin is not only hot..But I just saw him this past weekend in American Gangster and he 'held his own' up against the likes of Denzel and Russell. Can definitely see him working alongside Leo and Marty...too bad it's not for a role in SI.

Oops. Right stud muffin, wrong movie. He was considered for Chuck after all: He's candid, too: he didn't take the role of the Terminator in the upcoming fourth instalment of the movie series because "even though I liked the script there were a few things I didn't care for". He admits he ballsed up an audition with Martin Scorsese for the director's forthcoming Shutter Island: he didn't bother to read the script and spent the audition asking Scorsese fanboy questions about his films (his "buddy" Mark Ruffalo got the gig). And yes, his "yellow teeth" are non-standard issue Hollywood dentistry – but who cares? From here

Damn. I like Mark Ruffalo but I'd rather have seen Josh Brolin in a Scorsese flick! Oh well. Maybe next time.
