Thanks John N... and I'm realizing... I've not said Welcome to you... Soo... "WELCOME !"... I remember I saw the film at the time of its release... I was... ummm... 14/15... and it remains the other good film that Minelli has done in her career with Bob Fosse's Cabaret... I would have liked she does (did ? Conjugation ? ) other valuable/quality projects like these ones... and that she could sing "Happy Endings" for real. Re-saw it many times on TV, I also have an old double LP somewhere that I can't play anymore for technical reasons ... with DeNiro singin' a part of "Blue Moon". Great moment ! Time to buy the DVD... Thanks John It sounds similar the the two disc R2 version which I bought about a year ago and would definitely recommend. The commentary and deleted scenes/alternate ending are well worth seeing and to see the film made whole again is such a treat.
