Hello! Long time i don't come here... Last friday here in Rome there was the Rolling Stones's concert... there was also Scorsese...

Thanks, shiva :) From several reports of him being there, I gathered that he was there to just watch the show... Also, here's a post from a person, who worked with the camera crew: Last October, I was extremely fortunate to work as camera PA for 5 days on Scorsese's documentary on the Rolling Stones. It was an unbelievable experience working alongside cinematographers whose work I've always admired. Bob Richardson was the key DP supported by Ellen Kuras, Declan Quinn, Emmanuel Lubezski, Andrew Lesnie, Tony Jannelli, Robert Elswitt and my love - Albert Maysles among others. It was truly star-studded with the Clintons, Baldwins, Brian Grazer and countless celebs in attendance. As a gadget ho, I went nuts over all the equipment that were made available within the confines of the Beacon Theater. They were able to cram at least three super technocranes, a ton of lights, over seventeen cameras which included Panavision Milleniums and a Genesis, Arri 535s, 435s, 235s, on top of Photosonics, Super 16 and a couple Super 8's all running at the same time. It was crazy and way, way, way over the top. Kodak supposedly had to work overtime during the weekend just to keep up with the demand for 5218 stock. My camera team was positioned right below center stage which put me within a few feet of Mick Jagger's sweat! Can't wait for September 21st! I'm really looking forward to seeing how they've put this film together considering just the sheer amount of coverage they had. I hope they don't forget to include my name in the credits or I'll be very, very pissed if I stayed 'til the end of the film waiting for my name to roll by for a few seconds.

Shades of Howard Hughes  From what I can see of the Beacon Theatre in the photos doesn't need a bit event to be over the top. Operatic even  Thanks Will & Shiva
