Man... I wonder what's wrong with my PC that I can't hear the music. :( I would love if there was a sort of reminiscence of Vertigo's score in some of those haunting, darlkly romantic Teddy/Dolores scenes.

Man... I wonder what's wrong with my PC that I can't hear the music. :( Ava, right-click and save this. When the music changes, view the html source of forumer.com/>the main page, then find the new wav file and download it.

Thanks, arnzilla.

Sorry I can't join in the rabbit got to my speakers and permanently disconnected them :?

arnzilla- 11-25-2008

Onward... Can you name that movie tune in three notes?

Ava- 11-27-2008

Sounds like Cape Fear.

will- 11-30-2008

To me, too.

arnzilla- 12-02-2008

Me three. :P A little bit softer now... Can you name that movie tune in six notes?

Ava- 12-02-2008

This sounds really familiar (and beautiful)... I've been listening to The Curious Case of Benjamin Button score quite a bit lately, and it really sounds a lot like it's from that.... but I don't feel very confident with my answer. :/ Maybe it's something else by Alexandre Desplat...

arnzilla- 12-02-2008

Nope, it's over two decades old (but was recently recycled in another film). My music choices usually share, or faintly share, Shutter Island's genre. On a related note, Robbie Robertson has disclosed in a November 18th radio interview that he's working on Shutter Island's soundtrack. Check the 5-minute, 20-second mark here for the appropriate audio.

Hmm... I'm pretty stumped on this one. It sounds very, very familiar, and I'll probably kick myself when I find out where it's from. :p Thanks for Robbie Robertson radio interview.

Shynney- 12-05-2008

After listening to RR soundtrack it almost sounds like something from RR. Certainly the same haunting piano and theme!

leela- 12-06-2008

Listening in on a laptop  Is it from Jacob's Ladder?

arnzilla- 12-07-2008

Here's a clue: It was written by Pino Donaggio.

I'm not familiar with it at all... so simply based on your clues, I'm just gonna say "deja vu". ?
