Arnzilla Before we enter the long and winding Oscar Tunnel on Sunday hopefully to emerge in blaze of glory for the deserving "TD" , I did want to pause and take this opportunity to say '2' things ( which as you well know is a rarity for a motormouth like me ) 1. Thanks, for creating and maintaining this forum . The articles, photos, and poster discussions posted here have all served to make "The Departed" experience a truly memorable one. Plus this forum's existence gave us the rare opportunity to interact with "3" of the cast members who helped to make "TD" the cinematic treat it is =Dennis, Pete, and Billy's Mom/Zach . A special memory for sure ! 2. What is the start date of our "Teddy & His Band of Rough Riders " board ????

Yikes! I thought this was my eulogy. I'm always the last to know.:wink: No you're not allowed to join The Departed yet and it's not true people only say nice things about you after you're dead. Don't go thinking it's over just yet :D I can't quite believe I've been hanging around here with you..and a few others for nearly seven years!!! I think of this place as I would an good old fashioned Pub Snug Bar. A place where you'll always find familiar faces good company and interesting conversation. And of course you would be the landlord dispensing wit and wisdom along with the drinks. I may have fallen off my bar stool a few times but if you keep serving I'll keep stopping by. Thanks for everything :lol:

Would like to add my THANKS too for this wonderful 'comfortable' place, packed full of interesting and unusual snippets. Like Leela says its always feels like a visit to a warm and welcoming pub where you can feel at ease with life and there is always something to smile about. Love the treats of a special piece of music or an occasional quiz. Hope it will be around for many years to come in one form or another. Thank you Arnzilla for all your efforts. Thank you Peanut for starting this thread so we can say Thanks! :D

Thanks to Arnzilla for all of her hard work in maintaining this wonderful site for all of us. I was always amazed at how accurate and in some instances advance the information was that I read here.

:lol: Arnzilla, Let me add my thanks for the Best Departed board ever. It's been a great place to find all the news and info and invaluable when we made the trek to Boston to watch some of the filming. It's been nice to read everyone's thoughts and to get to hear from some of the cast too! Looking forward to our next trip together! Thanks!!! lighthouse
