Anthony was on the Best Damn Sports show last friday(you dont really have to be a sports fan to enjoy this show, one of the funniest on TV currently, IMO) - caught his segment midway so missed the first part. No mention of TD of what I caught but I'm really beginning to appreciate Anderson from all his talk show appearances and hope his natural sense of humor and likeability is well-used in the film.

Anthony seems a like a very personable guy. Even in his pix with Leo from the set, he got a great friendly smile and looks like fun, laid back guy. I’m anxious to see him on the big screen with Leo.

Mark Wahlberg will be on "The Big Idea" on CNBC @ 9:00 Central time Wahlberg will be on show along with author of "Rat Bastards" John Shea....talk about Whitey Bulger..and ..hopefully "Departed" !!! :) Shea was a lieutenant for Bulger at age of 20...said he admired Bulger for the power /respect he had..... They just showed a group of photos of Whitey..one photo in particular Whitey greatly resembles Jack Nicholson... Was interesting to hear Shea's comments about being a member of Whitey's gang and what was 'expected' of a gang member.. Found that Shea resembles the red hair actor who played part of Costello's crew Alas...Wahlberg never mentioned Departed.....could be because his focus was his soon to be made movie about Whitey and Crew =Rat Bastards..

Not an alert, but Anthony Anderson was on Law & Order SVU tonight, playing a cop. He replaced Mariska Hargitay as Stabler's partner for one episode. No comic relief, it was just a straight dramatic role: a hothead who didn't get along with Stabler in a story about hate crimes against the obese.

thanks arnzilla - I saw a commercial for it featuring Anthony a few nights ago and wondered if he was going to be a regular on the show. Missed the episode however.
