I'm guessing he's not there. I just asked to see if anyone could verify such information.
The Cannes Festival is also a big market for upcoming films, films that have not even started production yet and are trying to find financing or a distributor internationally or domestically. Many new deals are announced during the festival... and if I remember correctly, the first sale for the Aviator was made there.
